The wedding ceremony will take place at the beautiful Mission Santa Clara on the Santa Clara University Campus. Laura is an alumni of Santa Clara University and fell in love with the architecture, history and significance of the Mission during her time at college. Laura’s father, John, is the owner of the California Bell Company which has helped re-create the historic El Camino Real by putting up Mission Bells in front of all of the California Missions and along the original route of the El Camino Real. Laura spent many days traveling through California visiting the missions and learning about their history. When it came time to pick a location for the ceremony, there was no doubt that it had to be the Historic Mission Santa Clara.
Please begin arriving at the Santa Clara Mission at 2:30 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.
The reception will follow at the San Jose Women’s Club beginning at 4:30 pm. Please use the time immediately following the ceremony to enjoy the historic beauty of the Santa Clara Mission and it’s surrounding grounds.
Formal attire is requested for both the ceremony and reception. This should be interpreted as slacks and a dinner jacket with tie for men and a cocktail or formal dress for women.
